A case of ovarian torsion in early pregnancy after ovulation induction-diagnostic dilemma and management

Ovarian torsion is one of the common gynaecologic surgical emergencies. stimulation in infertility treatment has become a major risk factor for ovarian torsion. The diagnosis condition challenging early pregnancy and timely can prevent morbidity both mother foetus. We present case 28 years old primi gravida known polycystic syndrome (PCOS) conceived after ovulation induction, at 7 weeks period gestation with right Laparoscopic untwisting pedicle debulking multiple follicular cysts bilaterally was done. Patient withstood surgery well continued uneventfully. patient progressed to deliver healthy male baby 40 completed gestation.
